Accredited Calibration

Calibration labs need to be audited to demonstrate compliance to required quality and metrology practices. SE Laboratories’ quality systems have been found to be in compliance with ISO 9001:2008 for the Calibration and Repair of Electronic and Mechanical/Dimensional Measurement and Test Equipment. Additionally, calibration labs that are doing higher level calibration work – Z540 and/or A2LA accredited calibrations – need to be audited not only to quality systems but also certified that their calibration procedures and capabilities of calibration technicians are at a sufficient level to meet the highest standard of the metrology industry. This accreditation – provided by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) – ensures that SE Laboratories meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 “General Requirements of Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories” and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.

The most recent accreditation increased SE Laboratories’ capabilities by over twenty (20) percent. The new capabilities include ESD guns, accredited calibrations of all parameters for oscilloscopes, RF Synthesizers and Spectrum Analyzers to 50 GHz, and, performing accredited calibrations at customer locations. SE Laboratories can now provide accredited and Z540 calibrations from DC to 50 Ghz.
