SE Laboratories, Inc. Announces Expanded Accredited Calibration Capabilities

SE Laboratories recently passed A2LA audit allowing one of the broadest scopes of work for accredited calibration on the West Coast and ability to conduct accredited calibrations at customer locations.

Santa Clara, CA – July 21, 2004 – SE Laboratories, Inc., a minority owned business (registered at www.ccr.gov – search for “S E LABORATORIES”), recognized as Silicon Valley’s leading calibration services laboratory, announced today the expansion of its scope of accredited calibrations gained through successful completion of an ISO audit. The new scope of work – that defines calibration capabilities - has increased from 18 pages to 22 pages. SE Labs expanded range of accredited calibrations makes it one of the most accredited independent laboratories on the West Coast. Key new capabilities include:

Accredited calibration of ESD Guns
Accredited calibrations (all parameters) for the following:
Oscilloscopes to 50 GHz
RF Synthesizers to 50 Ghz
Spectrum Analyzers to 50 GHz
Accredited calibrations at customer locations

The accreditation – provided by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) – ensures that SE Laboratories meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025-2005 General Requirements of Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.

SE Laboratories now provides all grades of calibration – Performance Verification Checks (PVC), NIST, Z540 and A2LA – for mechanical and electronic (including optical) equipment at its Santa Clara, CA lab and in the field at customer locations. The A2LA certification ensures compliance with all calibration quality processes and technical competence of calibration technicians.
