SE Laboratories, Inc. Announces New Calibration Service Offering
Leading calibration & repair services laboratory now offers the lowest cost, highest quality calibration service offering available.
Santa Clara, CA – December 01, 2004 – SE Laboratories, Inc., a minority owned business (registered
at www.ccr.gov – search for “S E LABORATORIES”), recognized as Silicon Valley’s leading calibration services
laboratory, announced today a new calibration service designed to reduce calibration time and associated costs.
The new service – entitled a “standard calibration” – delivers quality as described in ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 17025,
but reduces cost by providing the service at the customer location.
The standard calibration service provides the following:
- NIST traceable calibration process that conforms to the quality system requirements of ISO 9001:2000 “Calibration and Repair of Electronic and Mechanical/Dimensional Measurement and Test Equipment”, ISO 17025 “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories”, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.
- A quick but comprehensive calibration with procedures designed to follow original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) specifications.
- SE Laboratories’ certified technicians test each piece of equipment to key system parameters to verify that the unit is within specification for those points and working properly. The points checked will be the technician’s choice and will be based on the technician’s determination to be the most critical parameters for validating system performance.
- For all items found Out of Tolerance (“OOT”) at the points checked, the “Standard Calibration” will end. Customer may elect to either have the equipment Returned As Is (“RAI”), or, have an automatic upgrade to Z540 calibration with before and after OOT data being reported.
- SE Laboratories’ web-based e3 calibration software manages customer equipment for all levels of calibration – standard, NIST, Z540 and/or accredited. e3 allows for scheduling of equipment pickup/delivery, field service, automatic recall for on-time calibration, retrieval of calibration certificates and data, and overall equipment database management.
